    Caroline’s background was primarily in the retail and hospitality sectors both customer facing disciplines which helped to provide a solid foundation for her to train as a recruitment consultant. That was in 2008 and some years later and still working alongside Kim & Sue,  she has developed lasting relationships with many high-profile clients. Such is Caroline’s level of competency that she has the ability to operate across all our specialist sectors Industrial, Commercial, Permanent recruitment and also Healthcare providing a robust, compliant & professional service Unfailingly pleasant to deal with Caroline’s  approach to sourcing the right candidate for a role is one of total dedication and ensures her clients have complete confidence in her.

    Equally many of our regular temporary staff appreciate the efforts she makes on their behalf too evident by the number who have been offered permanent positions from what initially were temporary roles.

    The red-head of the team Caroline is intelligent and well-read, her dry and witty sense of humour adds a positive dynamic to the team. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys renovating her home, the arts, theatre historical architecture and is an avid reader.  Oh, she also has two cats one of whom is ginger!

    • Sue Coker
      Sue CokerDedicated Account Manager

      Sue started her career in the hospitality sector and following a career break to raise her family, she was keen to return to the workplace but unsure of what path to take. As natural people person, Sue was looking for something different and couldn’t see herself in a normal office based role. So in her quest to find the perfect job, Sue registered with an agency and the rest is history.

      19 years later and still working with Kim and also Caroline for 9 years (Sue has become a talented & resourceful recruiter earning the trust and respect of a diverse range of clients many of whom have followed her throughout her career.  However, currently, Sue is dedicated to manging the ongoing labour needs of a very successful local business with whom she has worked for in excess of 6 years and as such they have complete confidence in her ability to support them with their business development plans including their recent relocation to new premises, in manging the combination of working patterns and shifts needed to respond to the ongoing needs of their client base as they strive for excellence in all they do!

      Outside of work, Sue enjoys eating out, shopping at House of Fraser, Interior design & City breaks.

        Kim RussellManaging Director

        Kim has been a passionate and dedicated recruiter for 35 years, during which time she has had exposure to a variety of recruitment disciplines, her excellent listening, communication skills and inherent empathy for people she is a natural for a career in recruitment. With a talent for building strong and lasting relationships, ensuring trust and honesty are at the forefront of MaK Personnel. Kim’s ethos is simple; to retain clients, develop new business relationships and just as crucially attract first class job seekers.

        An experienced MD, Kim is the driving force behind MaK Personnel a busy and thriving independent recruitment business.  Throughout her career she has always demonstrated a hands on positive approach working alongside her team and supporting them on a day to day basis whilst fully appreciating the extraordinary contribution they make to the ongoing success of MaK Personnel, she is particularly proud of the camaraderie and spirit that has evolved over the years that the team has worked together which is unusual in the recruitment industry

        Outside of work Kim has a keen interest in photography, with a love for travel and experiencing different cultures, she also enjoys being taken for morning walks by her two very large boxer dogs. (Buster & Wilson)
